Are you Grateful?

One word will change everything.

‘As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.’ – John F. Kennedy – 35thPresident of the United States

Expressing gratitude is not a secret, but it is often over looked and dates back more than 20 centuries. The religions of Christianity, Islam, Sikhism, Hinduism, Judaism, and Buddhism all follow the practices of gratitude. Muhammad spoke about being grateful for the abundance you’ve received and the abundance will continue.

So what will this age old secret do for you?

When expressing gratitude is applied to your daily life it will start transforming it, your life will change before your eyes … like magic.

I challenge each and every one of you to write down what you are grateful for in your life each morning and before you go to bed.

‘When I started counting my blessings, my whole life turned around.’ – Willie Nelson, singer- songwriter

Each and every day I am grateful for my:

My loving and supportive family and friends

My decision to think outside the box and make money online so I could live out my dreams

My supportive, kind and caring boyfriend

My health

My financial situation and that I have a roof over my head, food on the table, clothes on my back and money to spend on extracurricular activities

I am grateful I have a messy roommate – she has taught me how to become more tolerant

I am grateful I am able to move to Bali this August

I have amazing, respectful renters that will look after my property while I am living in other countries

I am grateful that I am smart, caring, loving, beautiful, inspirational, and willing to try new things.

I am grateful I have dreams larger than my current situation.

I am truly grateful that I live a blessed life.

Now it is your turn, write down everything you are grateful for. Start today and continue each and every day no matter what, you will be amazing at how quickly you life will change – magic

  1. Nice post. How so many people complain about what they don’t have that they often forget how to be grateful of what they have :) Enjoy Bali. It’s a beautiful serene place.

    1. I concur!
I am guilty of complaining just as everyone is at some times but at the end of the day what does it get you? Complaining serves no purpose.

Bali has been wonderful and a huge eye opener for me. I am so grateful that I have come here. A lot of families here have nothing but they are so happy, friendly, and would go out of their way to help you out with anything that you need.

I will leave Bali a changed person, and will be more grateful for the small things in my life
