    1. Hey Jason, thanks for the comment!

Congrats on your way out of the 9-5 and being open to realizing that there are plenty of other ways to bring in an income besides a 9-5

I look forward to following your journey!

      -Lindy

  1. Hey Lindy…. congrats on your mental transformation.

Our minds are incredibly powerful “tools” that most of us fail to recognize how seriously capable we are of achieving …………ANYTHING…that we dial into our mind.

    Regarding that thought.
I’m guessing Tanner planted some seeds in your mind, and you watered and nourished them until they sprouted. And at that point, because of your belief and mindset which you write about, it didn’t matter what obstacles appeared.

You either went through or around them…and are on the path of living by design.

Best of luck and continued success to you and Tanner!

    Successfully yours,
    Bruce Morton

PS Curious what your top 5 (or 3) Affiliate relationships are with…..inquiring minds ya know~

PSS Have you heard of , or read, CELESTINE PROPHECY by James Redfield?

    1. Hey Bruce,

Thank you so much for the incredible message.

When you ask what my top 5 or 3 affiliate relationships are, are you referencing other affiliate marketers or companies/products I choose to affiliate with?

I have heard of the Celestine Prophecy and I remember making a mental note to read it but I completely forgot until you just mentioned; it is now added on to my written list of books to read :)

I look forward to connecting with you more,

      Lindy

  2. Hi Lindy!

    I am Stephanie of http://www.thewritesteph.com.
For my blog-iversary, I’m giving away a Steph-made bracelet that I made from little beads and recycled paper. My daughter drew 10 names, and you are a winner out of my 80+ followers.

If you want to claim your prize, please just send me an address where you would like me to send it. Just give me your favorite color to wear, and I’ll be glad to select a bracelet out of that color.

I just need an address for the contest…I don’t plan to keep it or sell it to anyone else.

    Thank you for following http://www.thewritesteph.com,

    Best regards,
    Stephanie

    1. Hi Stephanie!

Thank you so much, what an incredible thing to do for your blog-iversary :)

I would love to have one of your bracelets but Tanner and I are living in a new place every few months while we travel the world. We don’t have a fix addy for the next few years.

I would love for you to choose someone else for this beautiful gift.

Thank you so much , your message and idea just made me smile ear to ear.

I hope you are having an incredible weekend

      -Lindy

  3. Hi Lindy,
How wonderful for you and Tanner! I would love to travel the world one day, too. Right now, I’ll just settle for Google Earth–which, by the way, is so much fun for me.

Okay, I know a lady who would like to have one, so I’ll give it to her in your name.

    :-)
    Stephanie

  7. Thanks so much for following my blog. Your bio is really interesting. Have you read anything by Robin Sharma or been to one of his workshops? I recently read The Leader Who Had No Title and am currently reading The Greatness Guide by him also – very inspiring! I look forward to following your journey :-)

    1. Hey! Thanks for the great comment :)

I have not read anything by Robin Sharma, but someone else recently mentioned this author to me – must be a sign that I need to read books by this author!

  8. Thanks for following my blog. I hope you visit often. I’ve visited Alberta a number of times, and really liked it. My favorite highway in the world just might be the Icefields Parkway from Jasper to Lake Louise.

    1. Isn’t that highways gorgeous? My dad and I did a day trip from Edmonton to Banff through the Icefields Highways around to Jasper! It was a LONG day trip but we were on a mission to practise our photography skills and there is no better place than that highway to do so :)

Have you checked out the Sky Walk that recently opened in the Columbia Ice Fields? It is pretty neat, just opened in May.

  9. Lindy, please forgive my last message (including the typo). I actually wrote a crazy long message about how blogging has helped me face challenges i’ve been too scared or timid to do before, like traveling. Now your blog will be an extra boost. Canada and Colombia are in my plans for next year. Hopefully I’ll be able to go to Bali one day. Thanks for being so open and inspiring!

    1. Thats neat. do you live towards Penticton or Vernon?

Tanner and I live in WestBank, this entire area is so beautiful and a great place to call home.

      Lindy

  10. I noted your name on my – well I think its called “notifications” – took me a while to find your site – for some reason your details didn’t show, only your name. Anyway, I’m waffling – all I wanted to do was to say thank you – and with respect may I say that you appear to have beautiful eyes and a very (apparent) engaging smile – although it might be best not to mention that respectful comment to your “minder” – chap to the viewed left of your pretty picture – and by the way, I have already been punished for this comment, the lesser half is standing over me at this moment, frying pan in hand, cellulitically (and yes, you are quite correct, that word doesn’t exist but oddly enough “cellulite sally” does – if you don’t believe me, look it up, it really does exist) attired and accusing me of being unfaithful again – and the thing is I am totally innocent – or put another way, she hasn’t caught me yet – WAHEY – Cheers Lady – yours, Ter (over 50 but put the clock back on his 50th and started from zero again!).

    1. Hey!

This comment definitely made me laugh, I really enjoy the way you write. However I hope the comments about you being “unfaithful Again” are not accurate.

Watch out for that frying pan… they can hurt :)

      -Lindy

  11. ps – I’m putting a new one up soon – it is self plagiarised – something I wrote years ago based on a true incident when I was but a babe in arms where Venusians are concerned – I was in my early 20′s and “she” was an older woman of 19 – its all about me buying, on my own, a bra for her from a London department store – one of the biggest mistakes I have ever made in my life – and Madam, I have made more mistakes in my life than George BABY Bush did in one day of his administration – so can you understand that I have made at least 1 million mistakes!

  12. Thanks for following my blog. Glad you found it because it brought me here. When I was a teacher in the UK I went on a fact finding mission to study the education system in Edmonton – small world!
    Dorinda

  13. No. My husband and I took our first holiday in India in 2007, found an amazing place for sale and bought it (that’s the short version of the story!) We moved here in 2008 after only 18 days in India!

This blog is about life in India, and you can see our property at http://www.lakeside.co.in Since coming here I’ve also had time to write and have published a novel, with a second finished and a third on the way! My website is http://www.dorindabalchin.com

Have you always lived in Edmonton? We have a friend who lives in Vancouver. It looks a beautiful city and I plan to visit some day. Part of my bucket list is to spend about a month in Canada

    1. Wow, that is a very neat story.

I am about to check out your property. I have always wanted to go to India, I love the culture, and the food.

I grew up in Edmonton but have been travelling over the last year and now in Kelowna (near Vancouver) for the summer months before we head off travelling again.

Where in Canada will you come to spend your month or would you tour around?

  14. I would travel around, starting in Vancouver. I haven’t put my itinerary together yet as it will probably be 4 years or more before we have the chance to take that much time away from our business.

You must come to India. It’s an amazing place!

    1. You will love it here. I was trying to ‘like’ a few articles on your blog but I can’t seem to find the ‘like’ button

    1. How are you finding wordpress so far? there are a lot of things you can do with it once you figure the platform out:)

  15. I have written 014.MDG: BRA – and dedicated it to you because I told you earlier I would write it – but this does not place any onus on you to read it – however, if you do read it, I certainly hope it might just put a little smile and on wherever you might like to have that little smile !!

    1. Hey :) I will definitely look at your new blog and read it. I am heading out the door right now but will take a peek when I get home.

      Thanks for sharing :)

  16. Love your message and banner. Thanks for following me! My goal is to run a half marathon in Jan and to take an “ab picture” in 5-6 months. When I launched my GrantAscent blog, I printed out a blog entitled “You have to do the hard things.” It popped up with a picture of a woman running past snow covered beach huts in the UK. This motivated me because this is my favorite climate for a good hard run. The AONC is tough. Keep on telling your story!

  17. Hey there really nice Blog Love it! Nice connecting with you.
I’m a Newbie and honestly just started to create my Blog ;) from scratch with no experience at all and it’s still in it’s tweaking stage ;)
Obviously it’s not going to be my last..if only time permits…

    Take care Lindy
    Enjoy!
    Kenneth

    1. Hey Kenneth,

Thanks for the message. Blogs are an absolute blast and an incredible way to express yourself or your businesses.

I look forward to seeing your progress

      Lindy

    1. Hey !! I love Edmonton in the summer, there are many great festivals.

We actually just moved to Kelowna July 1st :)

  18. Hi Lindy. Thank you for following my blog Fur Out The Closet, which led me to yours.

I admire your energy :) You must also care about animals other than pigs?

    Best wishes, Emy

    1. Hi Emy,

Nice to hear from you :) Thank you so much for the wonderful comment.

I am a big animal lover. Pigs are my favourite (it’s kind of a funny story as to why)

    1. Thank you so much for the awesome comment! That made me smile ear to ear as it took me a wee little bit of time putting it together.
